Monsoon is our favorite season.
It's the season when the rains restore Southeast Asia, infusing the land with fresh color and vibrant hues of life. For us at Monsoon Village, this is what we hope to bring to your surroundings; artisan crafts that transform the atmosphere, adding timeless beauty and authenticity to modern spaces.
Our inspiration began with a deep appreciation of a beautiful art form that has exited for decades, often unnoticed. Initially, these artisan crafts were integral to the daily living practices of the hill tribes and rural communities in Thailand (i.e. bamboo basket for storages, fishing traps, and field work equipment). We then transform these daily essentials into art forms, such as lamps, infusing them with authenticity, enduring beauty, and cultural significance. After all, we believe that handcrafted pieces are timeless in their own way.
Our artisan crafts are made from natural, sustainable materials, and we embrace the natural beauty found in imperfection.
